Dalton Utilities also utilizes this fiber network for internal SCADA efficiencies, monitors and controls the largest wastewater Land Application System in the world, and communicates directly with the new generation plant. This network is ready to accept Smart Grid communications.

AEG designed, engineered, and built this 470-mile FTTH network, passing 25,000 homes and businesses in the city and surrounding county. AEG also designed and built the Central Office and Head-end. Atlantic finished the City FTTH project on time and within budget. Atlantic’s labor and materials contract was approximately $30,000,000.
